In Sikkim

Enter a land where there are no rules

For the wildlife enthusiast, Sikkim is a paradise beyond compare. It is home to a number of endangered species and the government has made special provisions in the form of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries to keep them safe from hunters.

So if you are in love with animals and would like to watch out some animals in action then choose to visit the following to feel the wildlife of Sikkim:

  • The Kanchendzonga National Park
  • The Fambong Lho Wildlife Sanctuary
  • The Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary
  • The Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary
  • The Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary

As a visitor, you will be able to spot the Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black bear, Red Panda, Barking Deer, Civet Cat, varieties of birds and butterflies and various other animals. The parks have specific visiting hours and you will require special permissions to enter them.

At Himalayan Safaris, we arrange for special permissions that are required to watch out the animals here at the National Parks and Sanctuaries. You just name it, and we shall be on our toes to fulfill your travel demands.
